On October 18, 2023, MI PTA Council partnered with the League of Women Voters and the Mercer Island Preschool Association to a host a Candidate Forum featuring candidates for School Board and City Council. Questions were collected from the community and posed to candidates in advance of our November 7, 2023 elections. The recorded session can be viewed below:

Advocacy at Northwood PTA

Northwood PTA's Director of Advocacy works closely with the PTA Council Advocacy Committee, comprised of other representatives from district schools. Together, district advocacy representatives work to advance legislation on important issues for schools and children.
