PARENT EDGE WORKSHOPS
Mercer Island Parent Edge is a non-profit organization which is part of the Mercer Island PTA Council. This year’s Parent Edge programs will focus on supporting our students as they re-enter school after a year of remote and hybrid learning. We are also focusing much of our programming on a collaboration with Challenge Success, a non-profit affiliated with the Stanford University Graduate School of Education. The research and evidence-based approach to their work has been transformative in helping schools, parents and students rethink their definitions of "success." As we all return to school culture after a year of pause, we hope to examine and embrace a broader definition of success that will have a positive and lasting impact on the student experience on Mercer Island.
