Hello Northwood Community!
We hope this message finds you well and excited for the upcoming school year! As the co-presidents of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), we extend a heartfelt welcome to you and your family.
The Northwood PTA strives to foster a safe, caring learning environment that embraces all cultures, addresses students’ social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs, and provides educational opportunities that will help students reach their academic and creative potential.
Our PTA is a dynamic and dedicated group of parents, guardians, teachers, and school staff who work together to create a supportive and enriching educational environment for our students. We believe that the collaboration between caregivers and the school community is paramount to the success and growth of our children.
The PTA is not just an organization – it's a community that thrives on shared goals, aspirations, and the belief in the potential of our students. We are committed to fostering a sense of unity, respect, and open communication among all caregivers. By working together, we can create positive experiences that shape the educational journey of our children.
Throughout the year, the PTA will host a fundraiser, social events, and enrichment programs that provide opportunities for you and your students to engage with the school community and make a meaningful impact. We encourage you to participate, volunteer, and bring your unique skills and perspectives to our endeavors. Every contribution, no matter how small, contributes to the collective success of our initiatives. We understand that your time is valuable, and your involvement in your child's education is deeply appreciated. If you ever have questions, ideas, or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at president@northwoodptaowls.org. Your voice matters, and we are here to listen.

머서 아일랜드내의 학교들은 워싱턴주 내에서 손꼽히는 훌륭한 학교로 알려져 있습니다. 왜일까요? 그이유는 다름아닌 여러분들입니다! 머서아일랜드의 학부모들은 학교 참여도가 남달리 높고 학교에 많은 재정지원도 아끼지 않습니다. 노스우드 PTA는 학부모들이 쉽게 학교에 참여할수 있도록 자원봉사정신을 장려하며 기금 모금을 통해 불충분한 주정부로부터의 재정지원을 보충해주는 일을 합니다. 학부모 여러분의 협조가 없다면 당신의 자녀또한 워싱턴주내의 다른 학교 학생들과 똑같은 입장에 처해 있을것입니다 – 재정적으로 궁핍하고 충분한 지원을 받지 못하는 학교들을 말합니다

Northwood PTA chào phụ huynh,
Hội Phụ Huynh PTA tại Northwood hổ trợ trường tiểu Northwood qua việc gây quỹ, hoạt động tình nguyện, các chương trình, và các sự kiện. Mục tiêu của chúng tôi là để giúp trường tiểu Northwood nuôi dưỡng an toàn, chăm sóc môi trường học tập mà bao trùm tất cả các nền văn hóa và giải quyết các nhu cầu xã hội, tình cảm, thể chất và trí tuệ của học sinh. Nếu không có sự hợp tác của phụ huynh, các con em chúng ta sẽ phải chịu số phận tương tự như các học sinh khác trong tiểu bang của chúng ta – các trường có quá ít tiền và không đủ sự hỗ trợ.

L’association des Parents d’Elèves (PTA/Parents Teachers Association) de Northwood vous souhaite la bienvenue.
L’association soutient l’école élémentaire en organisant des collectes de fonds, le bénévolat, des programmes éducatifs et différents événements. Notre objectif est de favoriser un environnement propice à l’épanouissement et à l’apprentissage ouvert à toutes les cultures et répondant aux besoins sociaux, émotionnels, physiques et intellectuels des élèves.
L’association vise en outre à soutenir et à enrichir les projets éducatifs de nos enfants afin que chacun d’entre eux puisse atteindre son potentiel académique et créatif.
Les écoles de Mercer Island sont connues comme étant parmi les meilleures de l’État de Washington. Pour quelles raisons ? C’est grâce à vous ! Les parents d’élèves de Mercer Island sont extrêmement impliqués et soutiennent financièrement et de façon généreuse leurs écoles. L’association des Parents d’Elèves de Northwood a pour but de soutenir et faciliter ce soutien parental en encourageant le bénévolat et la collecte de fonds qui complètent les ressources financières insuffisantes fournies par l’État. Sans votre aide, nos écoles subiraient le même sort que d’autres – trop peu d’argent et pas assez de soutien.

Bienvenido a la Asociacion de Padres y Maestros (PTA) de Northwood.
Northwood PTA apoya a la Escuela Primaria Northwood a través de recaudación de fondos, voluntariado, programas y eventos. Nuestro objetivo es ayudar a Northwood Primaria a fomentar un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro y solidario, que abarca todas las culturas y aborda las necesidades sociales, emocionales, físicas e intelectuales. Northwood PTA se esfuerza para apoyar y enriquecer las oportunidades de educación de nuestros hijos, para que todos los niños puedan alcanzar su potencial académico y creativo.
Las escuelas de Mercer Island son conocidas como algunas de las mejores del Estado. ¿Por qué? ¡Gracias a ti! Los padres de los estudiantes de Mercer Island son tremendamente involucrados y proporcionan apoyo financiero generoso. Northwood PTA existe para apoyar y facilitar este apoyo de los padres, fomentando el voluntariado y la recaudación de fondos para complementar los insuficientes recursos financieros proporcionados por el Estado.
