Where are you originally from and what brought you to Mercer Island schools?

I am Oregon born, but have spent most of my life on Mercer Island -short stint as a kid back east and Hawaii in my 20s…I graduated from MIHS, and my kids graduated from MIHS.

What grade/area do you teach/support and how long have you been in education?

I am the inclusion coach for the district so I work in all 4 elementary schools, and sometimes other areas. This is my 13th formal year in education, and 28th informal year.

Where is your favorite place to vacation?

Anywhere I can snorkel

What is the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

Had 2 kids.

What are some small things that make your day better?

Working with kids.

If you had the day to yourself, how would you spend it?

Drawing, gardening, making something

If money were no object, what is something you would buy or somewhere you would go?

I would spend ½ of my year with one daughter and ½ with the other (one is halfway around the world)
