What grade do you teach and how long have you been teaching? 

This is my sixth year teaching 3rd grade! I taught third grade at West Mercer for three years, and this will be my third year teaching third grade at Northwood. 

 

My husband, Andrew, and I are originally from Texas. We moved to the Seattle area almost 10 years ago and have fallen in love with this state!

 

Tell me about your immediate family and pets. 

Andrew and I had our first kiddo last year. Her name is Emma, and she turned one on August 24th! We also have a fur-child named Champ who will be 12 this year. Champ and Emma became best pals once Emma started eating solid foods and began throwing them all over the floor.

 

What is the most adventurous thing you've ever done? 

My husband and I went skydiving for his birthday several years ago. It was terrifying and AMAZING. I’m still shocked that we actually went through with it!

If money were no object, what is something you would buy or somewhere you would go? 

I would buy an airplane so we could visit our family anytime! It would also be nice to take our plane to Hawaii every once in a while.
