Happy Black History month!
Northwood PTA, in collaboration with the Northwest African American Museum, encourages families to visit Seattle’s Central District and learn about locales and moments important to Seattle’s Black history.
Our PTA has created a tour with a total of 6 stops, each with an activity for families to complete in a “Passport Brochure.” Families can complete the Passport Tour on their own, or join with other families and complete together.

We are grateful for parent volunteer Justin Pae who designed our Passport brochure, the Northwest African American Museum who helped highlight several locations, and Emma Spohn, PTA’s former Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (2022-23). We could not have done this project without you all.
